About Dora O'Malley, your contact:
More than a native Spanish speaker...
Through her studies, travel and international career experience, Dora has acquired a broad understanding of languages and the nuances involved in communicating across cultural barriers.
Dora was born and lived in Argentina where she completed studies in English-Spanish translation and teaching. She traveled extensively throughout Latin America and she lived in Montreal, Canada, for four years where she worked in the import-export business while completing a degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL). Moving to Europe for eight years, Dora translated for a cross-section of international and USA companies. During this time she established an extensive network of language experts. For the past ten years Dora has resided in Minneapolis, MN, USA, where she further expanded her language and business network.
Her professional experience and direct overseas exposure provided Dora tremendous insight into languages, cultures and customs. Through EurUS Inc. she assists small to large firms in establishing their global language platforms and foreign language communications.
Dora has worked on translation projects for 3M, Imation, Honeywell, Pillsbury, IAG, St. Paul Public Schools, The Ryan Companies, The St. Paul Companies, United Healthcare Group, LaserMaster, CharlesBridge Publications, SmartCarte, Retek and many other USA and foreign companies. She has also taught Spanish for Healthcare Professionals at Century College and Regions Hospital, MN, USA.
